Bryson Foster- Shop Technician

Bryson Foster grew up on the outskirts of Dallas, Texas, where he attended Texas A&M University-Commerce, studying under Dr. Randy Hooper. There, he developed a love for music and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Vocal Music Education with an emphasis in secondary choral conducting and a minor in piano. After graduating, Bryson served as Head Choir Director at Farmersville HS and assistant choir director at Desoto HS. He also served as the choir director at Royse City FUMC, and as the Music Director for Tri-County Chorale, a community choir in east Texas, for 3 seasons. After 3 years as a professional conductor and educator, Bryson began studying organ with Mr. Benjamin Kolodziej in Dallas. Bryson’s love for the organ grew and pipe organs became one of his strongest passions! Currently, Bryson is a Master of Music student at the Bass School of Music at Oklahoma City University where is he working towards his Masters in Conducting, studying under Dr. Randi Von Ellefson. He is also studying Organ Performance with Dr. Melissa Plamann. Bryson has loved being a part of the Red River team and enjoys seeing all of the interesting organs and churches!
Bryson hopes to one day serve in full-time ministry as a director of music or choirmaster/organist. Aside from music, he enjoys basketball, museums, and spending quality time with quality people!
